AGM & Gardening for Butterflies

Our first AGM presented the Chair’s Summary and accounts for the 21 months to 31st December 2022, and the re-election of officers. After the brief AGM we welcomed back Dr Pat Thurston (See our Holly and the Ivy event) for a talk, Gardening for butterflies. Dr Thurston led us through the fascinating life cycle of the butterfly and how we can all help these amazing insects. Using his own efforts and observations in his garden, he had a great turn out, captivated throughout. The audience also left with a plant list to help in our own gardens, this is available below.
