The Cristian Fellowship Church on Walton Road has a small carpark with borders on three sides. WASH was approached to rewild the borders for the benefit of nature. Following a successful grant of £340 from Warrington Charity Trust in October 2023, WASH got to work clearing the vegetation, rubble and litter. The main border has now been planted up, half with wild flowers, and half with nature beneficial perennials and four crab apple trees. Already the space has been transformed and work continues to develop the other borders. We’ll update you as the project progresses.
