National Tree Week ran from 27 November to the 5 December. To celebrate our local trees and the amazing green space we have at Alexander Park, WASH organised a community event at the park.
We had tree trails and quizzes, nature-art classes, poetry reading and a change to decorate the wonderful silver birch next to the pavilion. We had a great afternoon and were very encouraged by the turn out and enthusiasm.
